Balanced scoring leads Lane women to victory

PORTLAND - Lane Community College had six double-figure scorers Wednesday night while overwhelming Portland 98-35 in a Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges women's basketball game.

Theresa Brown's 16 points led the Titans (17-4 overall, 6-1 South Region), and she was joined in double figures by Carmen Williams with 15 points, Jennifer Kimbrow with 13, Sheena Cole with 12, Sarah Whitfield with 11 and Kim Wilson with 10.

Kimbrow had a team-high 11 rebounds and Brown added 10 boards for Lane.
