Boyer leads Lane past Southwestern Oregon

Taylor Boyer scored two goals, Anna Goodrie and Serena Boehm each had two assists and Lane cruised to a 5-0 victory over Southwestern Oregon in a NWAC women’s soccer match on Saturday at Lane.

The Titans (8-2-2) won their fourth consecutive match to remain first in the NWAC South Region standings. Boyer’s second multi-goal performance this season increased her team-leading goal total to nine.

Boehm assisted on both of Lane’s first-half goals, one to Kylee O’Connor in the 22nd minute and another to Boyer seven minutes later.

Both of Goodrie’s assists came during a three-goal second half, connecting with Boehm and Boyer just five minutes apart. Miklaila Riddle capped the scoring with an unassisted goal in the 65th minute.

The Titans return to action at 2 p.m. Wednesday when they host Clark.
