Camas Guard Inks Letter Of Intent With Women's Basketball

Emma Jones, 5’10” guard/wing from Camas High School, Camas, Washington has signed a Letter of Intent to play basketball at Lane Community College next season.

Jones led her team to the quarterfinals of the 2017 4A Washington state tournament where they were defeated by Moses Lake.  Jones averaged 7 points and 8 rebounds per game at the Tacoma Dome.

During the regular season, Emma filled up the stat sheet averaging 10.2 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals per game.  For her efforts she was selected 4AGSHL 1st team All-Conference her senior season.

Coach Sheley is very excited to have Emma aboard for next season, “I think her length will be a factor defensively plus she just seems to do everything well on the basketball floor.”

Jones has grandparents in the area and knows Lane well which helped tip the scales in the Titans favor.  The women’s staff and its players welcome Emma to the program! GO TITANS!!!
