Clackamas edges Lane women

OREGON CITY — Emma Platner scored 21 points on seven three-pointers and Clackamas held on to defeat Lane 67-66 in a NWAC South Region women’s basketball game on Saturday.

The Titans (18-6, 4-3) went on a 27-13 run late in the second half to tie the score at 66 with about one minute remaining. Toria Bradford, who scored 14 points for the Cougars, made 1-of-2 free throws with 2.2 seconds left to seal the victory.

Jordan Kimbrough led Lane with 14 points and 17 rebounds. Maddie Kiplinger chipped in 12 points and Bre DuBois finished with 11 for the Titans.
