Complete games lift Clackamas past Lane

OREGON CITY — Michael Kelly and Zach Miller pitched complete games to carry Clackamas Community College to a doubleheader sweep on Lane on Saturday.

In the opener, Kelly, a freshman right-hander, scattered 10 hits over nine innings in a 6-3 victory over the Titans. Shaun Boehm was 3-for-5 for Lane, and Matt Taylor, Andrew Tracey and Alex Cornwell added two hits each.

Carter then threw a seven-hitter in a 2-1 win for the Cougars (11-23, 7-15 NWAACC South). Corey Wynant went 3-for-5 with two doubles for Lane (17-17, 13-9), which has lost its last four games.
