Duncan Signs LOI with Lane
Niki Duncan, Springfield High School shooting guard, has signed to play for the Lane Titans next season. Duncan, who helped Springfield High to the 5A State Championship in 2012 and runnerup finish this year, will enter the Titan fold in the fall.
Duncan averaged 11.5 points per game, 2.6 rebounds per game, 2.9 steals per game and 3.2 assists per game for the Millers. Niki began her career at Churchill High before transferring to Springfield and was an All-League performer for the Lancers. Duncan earned Midwestern League 2nd team All-League honors this season after being an honorable mention performer last season.
Niki will play the shooting guard position next season for the Titans and Coach Sheley anticipates her continuing the long list of great three point shooters to go through the program the last ten seasons. Says Coach Sheley, "We've been impressed with her ability to shoot from long range and how she competes".
