Former Beacon and current Lane Titan signs with Beavers
CORVALLIS — Kylor Kelley, a 7-foot, 215-pound forward at Lane who played for Northwest Christian last year, is one of three big men who signed letters of intent Wednesday with the Oregon State basketball program.
Also joining coach Wayne Tinkle’s program will be Jack Wilson, a 7-foot, 230-pound center from Half Moon Bay, Calif., and Warren Washington, a 6-11, 210-pound forward from San Marcos, Calif.
Wilson is a four-star recruit from Junipero Serra High, where he averaged 16.2 points, 10.4 rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots as a junior. Washington is a three-star recruit who averaged 15.6 points, 10.2 rebounds and 4.1 blocked shots as a junior at Mission Hills High.
Kelley is a 2015 graduate of Gervais High, where he was the PacWest player of the year after averaging 15.9 points, 12.4 rebounds, 7.8 blocked shots and 2.4 assists his senior year. He averaged 8.6 points, 8.8 rebounds and 5.6 blocked shots at NCU last season, setting the school’s single-game record with 10 blocked shots against Southern Oregon.
