Former Sheldon Star Signs with NWAC Champs
Head Coach Greg Sheley is happy to announce that Sarah Hall, 6’2” forward/post from Sheldon High School in Eugene has signed a Letter of Intent to play basketball next season for the defending NWAC champion Titans!
Hall, who spent the 2015-16 academic year at the University of Oregon, will be a freshman athletically next season.
As a senior, Sarah averaged a double-double for the Irish with a scoring average of 11.4 pts per game and 10.6 rebounds per game. She also averaged 2.3 assists and 2.0 blocks per game in the always tough Southwest Conference.
Hall was named 2nd team All-Southwest Conference after a senior season in which she helped lead Sheldon to a third place finish at the State 6A tournament.
Sarah was also named 1st team All-Special District 2 after her junior season.
Coach Sheley had this to say about Hall’s signing, “We were more than happy to wait for Sarah to join us. She has the ability to affect the game at both ends of the court and we feel her potential is unlimited”.
Hall signing brings next year’s freshman class size to eight players with the possibility of one or two more signings. The women’s basketball program welcomes Sarah and wishes her the best for next year’s season! GO TITANS!
