Johnson’s final three-pointer lifts Lane men

COOS BAY — Justin Johnson made a three pointer with 1.6 seconds left to lift Lane Community College to a 77-74 Northwest Athletic Conference men’s basketball victory against Southwestern Oregon on Wednesday.

Johnson finished with 27 points for the Titans (11-10, 3-6 NWAC), who snapped a five-game losing streak.

Johnson, a sophomore point guard, made 7 of 12 three-point attempts. Jacob Bigler also scored 13 for Lane. and Chase Iwate-Bartelme had 11 points and seven rebounds.
