Kimbrough Leads Titans to Their 4th Pierce Holiday Tournament Title In A Row

Jordan Kimbrough, scored 25 points and pulled down 15 rebounds to lead the Lane Women's Basketball team to their 4th Pierce Holiday tournament title in a row, and their 6th in seven years,and defeated Columbia Basin College 74-71 Sunday afternoon.

Kimbrough captured her second MVP trophy in leading the Titans to the title.  Bre DuBois, also was named to the All-Tournament team as she averaged 14.5 pts and 8 rebounds in the tournament.

The rest of the Lane starters impressed in the tournament, point guard Shelby Snook averaged 13 pts and 9 assists, guards Gabby Heehn and Mallory Shields averaged 11 points and 10 points respectively.

In the course of winning the tournament the Titans defeated last week's NWAC #1 team Peninsula College 82-72 and last week's #4 team Wenatchee Valley 93-68.

The Titans (7-0) resume holiday action next Friday in the Peninsula Crossover tournament in Port Angeles, Washington.  Lane opens with Spokane, a team they defeated in the Championship game of the Titan Classic in November.
