Vancouver, WA -- The Lady Titans of Lane and the Northwest Elite, a squad comprised of former colligate players, took down tournament titles this weekend.

In the Pierce Invitational, top-ranked Lane Titans went into the locker room at the half down by six, 43-37 to the second-ranked Clackamas Cougars. The Titans worked their way back into the lead with about seven minutes remaining in the game and went on to edge Clackamas 67-65.

In men's action at the Date Bates Invitational, NW Elite jumped out early on the Lane Titans, but Lane managed to hang tight until late in the first half as NW Elite built a twelve point margin to take a 51-39 lead in to the locker room at the half. The Titans took control in the second half, working their way back into the contest, and mid way through the period, traded leads with NW Elite - until Elite broke away for the final time and went on to win 98-87.
