Lane baseball sweeps twin bill from Cougars

CLACKAMAS — Lane baseball beat Clackamas 7-1, and 9-4, Saturday in NWAACC play to open 2-0 in league action.

The Titans (6-8 overall) were led by Matt Taylor’s two RBIs in the first victory after he was 3-for-4. Four pitchers allowed three hits in the win, with no pitcher throwing more than two innings.

The Titans scored four runs in the third inning of game two. Konner Reddick was 1-for-3 with three RBIs, and Taylor drove in two, going 2-for-5 in the leadoff position.
