Lane baseball swept by Lower Columbia

LONGVIEW, Wash. — The Lane baseball team was held to two runs in each game of a doubleheader at Lower Columbia on Friday, and was swept by the Red Devils 6-2 and 5-2.

Garrett Myers went 3-for-4 with a single, double, home run, two RBIs and scored two runs for Lower Columbia in the first game. Cam Russ went 2-for-4 with two singles and Bryce Tilton had an RBI and a walk for Lane (2-4).

In the second game, Hayden Gerlach hit 2-for-2 at the plate with an RBI and HBP, and Lorin Archibald went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Red Devils. Tilton was 1-for-3 with two RBIs and Paul Turner was 1-for-2 with a walk and a run scored.
