Lane downs Bellevue for women’s tournament title
PENDLETON — Sarah Hall scored 23 points Saturday to lead the Lane women’s basketball team to a 97-94 overtime win over Bellevue in the championship game of the Blue Mountain Crossover Tournament.
Rachel Fielder and Asha Tullock both came off the bench to score 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the Titans (8-2).
Amber Lease, Megan Still and Meagan Briggs all added nine points apiece for Lane, who led 42-31 at halftime.
The Titans overcame a big game from Bellevue’s Brenda Akoto, who led all scorers with 34 points.
Molly Dixon added 22 points for Bellevue.
Still and Lease were named to the all-tournament team for Lane.
