Lane gets its shooting going in rout of Treasure Valley
SALEM — Three players scored more than 20 points as Lane rolled to a 124-84 women’s college basketball victory over Treasure Valley at the Chemeketa Holiday Classic on Monday.
All-tournament selection Shelby Snook scored 26 points to go along with 10 assists and eight rebounds, Gabby Heehn added 26, including eight three-pointers, and Niki Duncan finished with 23 for the Titans (13-3).
Lane shook off a poor shooting performance in Sunday’s loss to eventual tournament champion Wenatchee Valley, and connected on 14 first-half three-pointers to build a 70-37 lead by halftime. The Titans made school-record 20-of-44 shots from behind the arc in the game.
Dom Underwood led Treasure Valley with 20 points; Cerissa Honena added 14 and Taylor Wallace scored 12 in the loss.
