Lane loses two of three at Clackamas tourney
OREGON CITY — Despite some tightly contested matches at the Clackamas tournament, the Lane volleyball team lost two of three in pool play Friday to fall to Saturday’s consolation match.
The Titans (7-2) got their lone win over South Puget Sound. Naomi Ricketts had nine kills and Kayla Akiona had 15 digs in the 25-17, 24-26, 15-9 victory.
Against Centralia, Evelyn Montoya and Stacia Panther each had five kills in a 21-15, 25-19, 11-15 loss. Ricketts had six kills and Morgan Newton 12 assists in a 25-17, 25-23 loss to Clackamas.
