Lane men fall to South Puget Sound

LYNNWOOD, Wash. — AJ Hodges scored 28 points and Luke Chavez added 23 to help carry the South Puget Sound men to a 93-84 win over Lane on the second day of the Edmonds Crossover basketball tournament Saturday.

Jacob Bigler paced the Titans (4-4) with 25 points, hitting 7 of 11 from three-point range, and Justin Johnson and Jacon Hintemeyer each finished with 19 points. Hintemeyer also pulled down 12 rebounds.

The teams were tied at 38-all at halftime, but the Clippers (6-4) took the lead for good with about four minutes to play.

The four-team tournament concludes Sunday, with Lane playing Columbia Basin at noon.
