Lane offense can’t keep up in sweep

YAKIMA, Wash. — The Lane Community College baseball team lost two games at the Bobo Brayton Invitational at Yakima Valley Community College Saturday, falling to Tacoma 3-1 and to the host Yaks 12-4.

Tacoma’s Andrew Olson struck out eight over eight innings in the first game. Jackson Wilde drove in Lane’s lone run with a single in the sixth.

Lane’s Skip Spencer had a two-run double, Wilde added an RBI double and Joe Offer added two hits against Yakima.
