Lane women move to 4-0
BELLEVUE, Wash. — Sierra Carrier had 16 points Friday in leading the Lane women’s basketball team to a 66-46 win over Highline in the opening round of the Bellevue Bulldog Classic.
Trailing by two points after the first quarter, the Titans (4-0) broke the game open with a 28-12 second-quarter for a 41-27 halftime advantage.
Kiana Heehn had 12 points and Rachel Fielder added 11 for Lane, which will play Bellevue at 7 p.m. in Saturday’s semifinals.
Highline’s Theyoung Puoy led all scorers with 18 points.
