Lane’s Church shines at Titan Twilight meet

Lane Community College’s Allie Church won the 100 and 200 meters and ran on the first-place 4x100 relay during the Titan Twilight track and field meet on Thursday night.

Church took the 100 in 12.31 seconds and the 200 in 25.31. Jemiel Lowery also won the men’s 100 (10.80) and ran on the winning 4x100 relay for Lane.

 

Other Titan men’s winners were Brandon Nash in the high jump (6-8 3/4) and Gabriel Rodriguez in the long jump (23-3 1/4). Kara Hallock took first in the women’s 100 hurdles (14.58).

Winners for the Northwest Christian women at the meet were Breanna Schmidt in the long jump with a school-record mark of 17 feet, 9 inches, Ashley Kinney in the 1,500 (4:47.39) and Raven Harrison in the 5,000 (18:38.50).

Nick Lopez also set an NCU record placing second in the 1,500 (4:01.69)
