Lane’s comeback falls short against Linn-Benton

ALBANY — Lane Community College’s poor shooting in the first half put the Titans in a hole they couldn’t get out of Wednesday night in a 74-67 loss to Linn-Benton in an NWAACC Southern Region men’s basketball game.

Zach Kirschbaum had 24 points and nine rebounds to lead Lane, which shot 37.9 percent from the floor in the first half, including 0-for-11 from the three-point line to trail 39-27 at the break.

Alex Sattley also scored 19 for the Titans. Taylor Vicknair led the Roadrunners with 21 points and seven rebounds.
