Mallory Shields, Sherwood (OR.) High School, 5'11" forward has signed to play for the Lane Titans next season.  Shields was the Player of the Year in 2014 for the Northwest League (5A) and was also 5A 2nd Team All-State.  This year she garnered first team All-League recognition in the Three Rivers Conference (6A).

Shields averaged 13.6 points per game, 6.6 rebounds per game and 3.1 steals per game for the Lady Bowmen.  Mallory was also a multi-sport performer for Sherwood, playing four years on the volleyball team earning Honorable Mention All-League in her junior and senior seasons and also playing two years of varsity golf.  Shields also played two years of summer club basketball for the WVBA Selects before her junior and senior seasons.

Mallory will play guard and forward positions next season for the Titans, Coach Sheley anticipates her contributing right away.  Sheley likes her ability to score from the outside and down low but really appreciates her toughness and hard play on the court.  "Mallory gives us more depth up front but more importantly gives us depth at more than one position" says the Titan's head coach.
