Marist Catholic Point Guard Signs LOI
Tiffany Stockton-McLean, 5’8” point guard from Marist Catholic HS has signed a Letter of Intent to play basketball next season at Lane Community College.
The speedy Stockton-McLean averaged 7 points, 3 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.5 steals per game for the Spartans leading them to the 5A State tournament. At the 5A state tournament, she upped her game and averaged 9 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals for Marist Catholic.
Tiffany will be hoping to help replace Lane’s all-time leading scorer and assist maker Shelby Snook who signed with Western Oregon University. Coach Sheley had this to say about Stockton-McLean, “ Tiffany has the kind of speed to push the pace the way we like it. She can also defend and distribute the basketball to our sophomore shooters”.
