Panthers claw Titans, 3-1, in men’s soccer

PORTLAND — Portland attempted just four shots on goal but made three of them count as the Panthers cruised to a victory over Lane, 3-1, in a Northwest Athletic Conference men’s soccer match Wednesday.

Juan Carlos Rolon, Mamed Karen and Jasper de Jonge each scored for Portland (5-1-1, 3-0-1 NWAC), all three goals coming in the first half, in a game that featured eight yellow cards.

Christopher Cardenas scored an unassisted goal for the Titans (3-6-0, 1-4-0) early in the second half.
