Second-half outburst seals win for Titans

Tyler Coleman had 18 points, Jarred Kelsey had 16 points and Lane Community College scored 54 points in the second half to pull away from visiting Southwestern Oregon Community College 95-67 Wednesday night in an NWAACC men’s basketball game at the LCC gym.

The top-ranked Titans (15-3, 3-1 South Region) held just a 41-35 lead at halftime before outscoring the Lakers by 22 in the second half.

Coleman was 8-for-11 from the field and also had five rebounds.

Levi Strandburg also scored 15 for Lane, Byron Johnson added 14 points and Santiago Silva had 11 points.

Anthony Heintzman led SWOCC with 17 points, including five three-pointers.LuDarrell Mongkholtham also scored 16 for the Lakers (7-9, 2-2).
