Titan Women Come in #4 in First NWAC Coaches Poll

Vancouver - The Lane Women's soccer team was voted 4th overall in the first Coaches poll of the season, released by the conference on Sept. 15.

The Titans, 2014 and 2015 defending Southern Region Champions, are 3-2-1 overall and 1-0-0 in the Southern Region.

The Titan's only two losses this season were handed to them by the top two teams in the league: Defending NWAC champion, Spokane (1st in the poll), and Peninsula (3rd in the poll). The Titan's drew with #5 Walla Walla on the road this season and have a 3-0 win over #7 Everett.

Lane kicked off Southern Region play with a 8-0 win over SW Oregon. Up next for the Titans is a seven game road-stretch. The team returns to Eugene on Saturday, Oct. 15 when they host Clackamas for a Southern Region match up.
