Titans baseball takes two at Clackamas
OREGON CITY — The Lane baseball team took a pair of games Saturday on the road against Clackamas Community College. The Titans won the first game 2-1 and turned around to beat Clackamas 11-6 in seven innings in the second game.
Lane scored the go-ahead run in the top of the seventh inning after Clackamas tied it in the bottom of the sixth. Jeff Hardy earned the win for the Titans. He pitched seven innings and allowed one run on four hits. He also struck out five.
Isaias Zerufael was 2-for-4 for Lane, and Blake Montague was 1-for-2 with a solo home run.
In the second game, Lane fell behind 6-4 after giving up three runs in the bottom of the third inning. The Titans responded with three runs in the fourth and two more each in the top of the sixth and seventh. Five different Titans finished with two hits, led by Konner Reddick, who had a double and five RBIs. Tucker Campbell added three RBIs and a double as well for Lane.
