Titans blank Hawks at NWAACC tourney

LONGVIEW, Wash. — Jeff Hardy and Jarred Priestley combined to pitch a six-hit shutout and lead Lane to a 6-0 victory over Columbia Basin at the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges baseball championships on Friday.

The Titans (28-17) face another elimination game at 11 a.m. today against Treasure Valley. Lane needs to win twice more to reach Monday’s championship round.

Hardy (6-4) gave up five hits over seven innings with six strikeouts and three walks.

Erik Long went 4-for-4 and scored three times for Lane, and Spencer Smith drove in three runs. Konner Reddick also was 3-for-4 with an RBI.
