Titans roll to a big win with critical South Division match on horizon
MEDFORD — Pikake Hix and Erin Riley recorded hat tricks to lead Lane Community College to a 15-0 victory over Rogue on Wednesday in Northwest Athletic Conference women’s soccer.
Amanda Hisey and Ally King added two goals apiece for the Titans (13-4-1, 10-1-0 NWAC South), who won their fourth consecutive game and have clinched a playoff spot. The Ospreys (0-12-1, 0-10-1), in their first season of play with an all-freshman roster, have been outscored 105-0 this fall.
Hix, who also had an assist, is the NWAC’s second-leading scorer with 18 goals and six assists for 42 points. The shutout was Lane’s 12th in 18 games.
The Titans will finish their regular season at noon Saturday against Clark. They need a win or a draw to win the South.
