Titans split double-header with Clackamas in baseball

OREGON CITY — Hank Forrest went 2-for-5 and drove in three runs to lead Lane to a 9-2 victory over Clackamas in the first game of an NWAC baseball doublheader on Sunday.

Thomas Rudinsky, Henry Lovekamp and Jayden Hanna also had two hits for the Titans, and Austin Crowson earned the victory by pitching six innings of shutout ball, striking out eight.

In the second game, Lane managed only four hits in a 3-1 loss to the Cougars. Tony Ortiz drove in Lane’s lone run on a double in the fourth inning.
