Titans split final day’s games at Columbia Basin

PASCO, Wash. — Lane baseball split its games Sunday, beating Columbia Basin 2-1 before falling to Spokane 4-2 at the Columbia Basin Tournament.Lane’s Skip Spencer got the win in the 2-1 win, pitching eight innings and striking out eight. The Titans’ Tym Pearson drove in Darrell Hunter on a game-winning single in the sixth inning. Jimmy Sanchez was also 2-for-5 with a run scored.

In the 4-2 loss to Spokane, Spencer was 2-for-4 with a run and Pearson had a two-RBI triple in the fourth inning.
