Titans split two games against Linn-Benton

ALBANY — Starter Jackson Bertsch didn’t give up a run in six innings of work and Kyle Watson was 4-for-5 at the plate with two RBI and a run scored to lead the Lane Community College baseball team to a 10-2 victory over Linn-Benton in the first game of a doubleheader on Friday.

The Titans’ (20-13) five-game winning streak came to an end with a 3-2 loss in the second game at LBCC Baseball Field. Jacob Musial allowed one run and three hits over seven innings for Linn-Benton (17-15).

The two teams will play another doubleheader today at Titan Field. The first game will begin at 1 p.m.
