Two area athletes sign letters with Oregon Tech

KLAMATH FALLS - Lane Community College's Jennifer Kimbrow, recently named the most valuable player of the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges women's basketball tournament, has signed a letter of intent to play for Oregon Tech next season.

Kimbrow averaged 10 points and six rebounds for the Titans , who won their third NWAACC tournament championship in the past four years on Sunday.

Kimbrow was one of two athletes from this area to sign with the Owls, joining Churchill High School senior softball player Jess Plummer.

Plummer hit .469 last year for the Lancers while being named to the all-Midwestern League first team and the Class 5A all-state second team.
