Two Titans earn Fall 2011 NWAACC Academic Leadership Award

The NWAACC Academic Leadership Award for Fall 2011, and two Women's XC student-athletes were recipients.  Gylany Crossman had a 4.0 GPA, was an All-American by placing second at the NWAACC XC Championships, and was a member of the Student-Athlete Leadership Committee.  North Eugene grad, Rachel Jensen, had a 3.86 GPA, placed ninth at the NWAACC XC Championships, and was also a member of the SALC.  People on the list had to have the qualities listed below:

  • A second year athletic participant at an NWAACC member college
  • Earned 40 + credits (Fall Sports) and 60 + credits (Winter and Spring sports)
  • 3.50+cumulative GPA
  • Involved in campus or community activities
