Washington Star Signs with Titans

Jordan Rodriguez, Sunnyside High School, Sunnyside, Washington has signed a Letter of Intent to play basketball for Coach Sheley's women's team for the 2015-2016 season.  Jordan averaged 12 points per game this season along with 6 rebounds, 3 assists per game and 3 steals per game.

Rodriguez, Sunnyside's all-time leading scorer received Big 9 Conference First Team recognition for the third consecutive year after receiving Second team honors as a freshman.  As a sophomore she was the Big 9 Player of the Year, as a junior she was named second team 4A All- State.  Additionally, she was named to the Big 9 Conference All-Defensive Team as a sophomore, junior and senior.

Jordan was also an all-around athlete at Sunnyside High lettering in three sports other than basketball.  She played soccer for three years, track for two years and volleyball as a senior.

Coach Sheley is excited to have Jordan on campus next season and expects her to become a major contributor this season.  "Jordan is a tremendous all-around player who can play all the guard positions and lock people down on defense" says Sheley.
