Women's Soccer Sophomores Earn NWAC Academic Excellence Award

Vancouver – Kyla Ganchan Romero and Calysta Susu Mago, both sophomores on the Lane Women’s Soccer team, earned the NWAC Academic Excellence Award, announced by the conference.

In addition to their academic success, both Ganchan Romero and Susu Mago were named to the NWAC All-Star team for their athletic contribution this Fall.

A native of Reno, Nevada, Kyla Ganchan Romero has maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average while at Lane and has been named to the Vice President’s List once and President’s List twice.

Calysta Susu Mago, from Ashland, Oregon, has earned a 3.8 GPA as a Titan and has been named to both the Vice President’s List and President’s List.

To be nominated for this award, student-athletes must be sophomores in eligibility, have earned more than 36 credit hours, and maintained at least a 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
