Linsey Kau - Assistant Throws Coach
A three-sport standout student-athlete from Crow High School, Linsey excelled both on and off the field. Linsey was the president of the local chapter of the Honors Society, garnered 1st Team All-State Honors; twice, was voted Mountain West League MVP, and collected multiple All-League Honors. In 2006, Linsey was the state of Oregon 1A javelin champion.
Linsey Kau began her collegiate career with the Titans in 2011. She was a standout in the throws, particularly the javelin. Most notably, earning points in both the javelin and discus at the NWAC Championships in 2011. After having suffered an elbow injury which sidelined her for the majority of her sophomore season, Linsey transferred to the University of Oregon where she competed for the Ducks during the 2013 and 2014 season; however, not before earning her Assosiate of Arts Oregon Transfer Degree and All-American status at the NWAC level.
At Oregon, Linsey completed her Bachelors Degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences. Now Linsey is a proud member of the Titans coaching staff overseeing all throws, but specializing in the javelin. In her first year, Linsey coached the NWAC runner-up to a All-Time top 10 Lane throw.
Linsey continues to use her knowledge and love of the sport to guide the throwers to some of the best marks seen at Lane in many years.
