Lane beats Edmonds in a shutout

Maddi Barton and Samantha Schoene scored for Lane in the second half Sunday afternoon at home to lead the Titans past Edmonds in NWAACC women’s soccer, 2-0.

Lane’s first goal, in the 47th minute, was by Barton off an assist by Emily Strome.

Schoene scored in the 63rd minute on a penalty kick struck. She also had seven saves for Lane (4-1-2, 3-1).
