TACOMA, WA - Lane had two big games today against number one Bellevue (9-2) and number 7 Tacoma (5-2).  In game one, the Titans had the tying and winning run on in the ninth inning, but couldn't get the hits together to overcome Bellevue in a 6-5 loss.  Cody McDonald (pictured) went 2-for-5 with 2 RBIs and Shawn Boehm went 3-for-5 with 1 RBI to help the Titans.  Dawson Finney got the loss for the Titans with Adrian Samspon picking up the win for the top-ranked Bulldogs.

In game two against the Tacoma Titans, Lane's only run in the seventh couldn't match the two runs scored in the fourth by the Titans which resulted in a 2-1 loss.  Nick Coffman went 1-for-3 with an RBI for Lane's only run, while Shawn Boehm went 2-for-4.  Elliot Sherrell pitched 3 innings in the loss for Lane, while Matt Bell pitched 9 innings in the win for Tacoma.  Lane heads to Lakewood, WA for a 10am game against Pierce, followed by a redemption game against Bellevue at 1pm.
