Double-double by Rodriguez lifts Titans
Jordan Rodriguez scored 29 points, drilling eight three-pointers, and pulled down 11 rebounds to lead the Lane women over visiting Mt. Hood, 76-36, in a Northwest Athletic Conference basketball game Wednesday.
Rodriguez hit 10 for 16 from the field (63 percent), including 8 for 14 from three-point range (57 percent), as the Titans improved to 22-4 overall and 11-2 in conference play. Lane is 2 1/2 games behind South Division leader Umpqua (25-2, 14-0 league) but has clinched a playoff berth with three regular-season games to play.
Sarah Hall added 13 points for the Titans and Amanda Tobey finished with eight. Mt. Hood (6-19, 1-12) was led by Chloe Cummins with 14 points.
