Final NWAACC Basketball Coaches Poll out, Tournament Bracket set

The Lane Women's Basketball team is still holding a strong second in the final poll after the regular season with 62 points and 1 first-place vote.  The Lady Titans take an 11 game winning streak into the NWAACC Tournament with their last loss coming against Chemeketa on January 14th.  Columbia Basin has not relinquished the top spot since acquiring it in the January 4th poll.  The Hawks have 78 points and 7 first-place votes and have a 25-2, 13-1 record on the year.  Walla Walla moved past Clackamas since the February 15th poll, and now they sit third and fourth respectively.  Please click here to view the complete poll.


Lane's first game of the double-elimination NWAACC Tourney is against Peninsula (17-9, 11-5) at 4pm on Saturday, 3/3 in Kennewick, WA.  If they win, they will play the winner of Clark/Yakima Valley at 4pm on Sunday.  If they lose, they will face the loser of Clark/Yakima Valley at 10am on Sunday.  The Lady Titans beat Peninsula 50-47 on December 10th in the Pierce Invitational.  Follow the Titans on Facebook and at for live radio broadcasts, scores, highlights, and more.
