Lane baseball posts sweep of Chukars
The Lane baseball team swept Treasure Valley in a doubleheader Saturday, winning 3-1 and 10-0 in seven innings.
The Titans only had four hits in the first game, but scored twice in the bottom of the first and once in the eighth. Brad O’Connor earned the win by allowing one run on four hits in six innings while striking out six.
In the nightcap, the Titans put the game away early with nine runs in the second inning. David Bellamy had four hits and three RBIs for Lane, and Ben Giland had two hits and three runs for Lane.
