Lane finishes men’s tourney with win
WEED, Calif. — Justin Johnson scored 20 points Friday to lead a balanced scoring attack for the Lane men’s basketball team in a 96-74 win over the host school in the College of the Siskiyous Tournament.
Johnson was one of four players in double figures for the Titans (8-4), who went 3-0 in the three-day round-robin tournament.
Lane jumped out to an 18-point lead in the first half only to see COS pull within 42-36 at halftime. The Titans quickly built the lead back to 16 points early in the second half and added to it from there.
Jacob Bigler scored 13 points for Lane, Cade Cattell had 12 points and Ahmad Jones added 11 points. Five other Lane players scored six or more points.
