Lane salvages split against Clackamas
OREGON CITY — The Lane Community College baseball team split a doubleheader with Clackamas on Friday, losing the first game 4-3 and winning the nightcap 1-0.
Malik Evans allowed only one hit and did not issue a walk in seven innings to pick up the win for Lane in the second game. Bryce Tilton drove in the winning run in the top of the eighth.
Jackson Bertsch allowed four runs in the first inning of the opener before settling down. Tilton and Forrest Garcia each had an RBI during Lane’s three-run third.
