The Lady Titans (10-3) go into Conference play seated 3rd in the John William Howard poll behind Columbia Basin (12-1) and Clackamas (11-1).    Howard records the following about the Titans' season thus far: "Of the teams tied at 10-3, Lane has been the most consistent. Their wins aren't all that impressive, but their losses are to #1 Columbia Basin and #2 Clackamas, as well as the aforementioned North Idaho. Lane may be the most well rounded team in the NWAACC, even if they don't have the best record. Lane is 3rd in the NWAACC with 75.77 ppg, leads the league in blocks, and is among the leaders in steals."

They are seated #7 in the NWAACC American Airlines Coaches Poll with 39 points.  Columbia Basin tops the poll with 71 points and 6 first-place votes, followed closely by Clackamas with 61 points and 2 first-place votes.
