EUGENE, OR -- On Thursday, April 2, the Lane Titans baseball team is scheduled to play a nonconference home doubleheader against the Clark Penguins begining at 1 p.m. The Penguins are 6-11 on the season and 2-2 against teams in the Western Region. The Titans have split their last four two-game series.

As a team, The Titans hold one of the highest batting averages in the NWAC, averaging .287 at the plate this year (second behind Yakima Valley at .312). Clark is 8th with a batting average of .252. Lane also leads the NWAC for hits during conference play.

First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. with Game 2 to follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1.
