The Lane Titans Men's Basketball team continued to showcase their offensive prowess in a 125-85 victory over Mt. Hood Saturday evening.
The Titans, coming off of their first NWAC loss, entered the game 11-3 and 2-1 in conference play.
The Mt. Hood Saints came in still looking for their first league win.
Lane is currently second in the NWAC in scoring at 94.1 points per game, and showed no intention of slowing down today.
After an early back and forth, the Titans jumped out to a 31-16 lead with 10 minutes to play in the first half.
The Saints tried to keep the game in hand, but the Titans continued to dominate offensively.
A scorching half shooting the ball propelled the Titans to a 64-38 halftime lead.
The Titans shot a staggering 13-19 from three in the half.
Izzy Golden led the charge behind the arc, scoring 12 points on 4-5 shooting from deep.
Brody Roth and Noah Salmon also combined for 6 threes in the half, shooting 6-7 together.
Ben Thornbrue continued his dominance, going in to halftime with 21 points.
The hot shooting continued in the second half, with the Titans going 10-23 from three in the second half.
The game was never in doubt as the Titans built on their lead with a dominant 125-85 final.
Six Titans scored in double figures.
Ben Thornbrue finished with 24 points.
Starters Izzy Golden and Brody Roth scored 18 points and 13 points, respectively.
Noah Salmon, Paul Ebanda and India Mohiduan all scored double figures off the bench.
The Titans finished the game shooting 23-42 from three.
They will travel to Salem on Monday for a matchup against Chemeketa.
