Lane Advances to Quarterfinals in Victory Over Walla Walla

EUGENE, OR -- The Titans defeated the visiting Walla Walla Warriors Wednesday afternoon in the first round of the NWAC Men's Soccer Playoffs. The Titans finished the regular season with a share of the Southern Region Championship, but lost out on the first round bye due to a tiebreaker with Rogue. The Warriors finished 3rd in the Eastern Region.

After a nearly scoreless first half in adverse weather conditions, Imrane Bentolha found the back of the net in the 42nd minute to put the Titans up 1-0 heading into halftime. The Lane defense stood strong and a crucial clearance by Roy Arroyo in added time sealed the win for the Titans, who advance to play Highline College on Saturday in Tukwila, Washington.

This win marks the first post-season victory for the Titans since the program was re-introduced in 2016.
