ESTACADA, Ore.  – The Lane women's cross country team started off their 2025 season on Friday with an 11th place showing, running a 5000m race at McIver Park, hosted by Lewis & Clark College.  
 
"We're very proud of our effort this morning," said Head Coach Chris Yorges. "The team is excited to see how much they can improve throughout the season ."
 
In a race with schools from several different college  classifications, the Titans were led by Violet Powell in 30th followed in 68th by Gracie Bueurgey, Jeyde Reyes-Cornejo 70th, Julianna Scull 90th and Mia Piscopo 92nd.

 

Up next for Lane will be Western Oregon University's Ash Creek Collegiate, taking place on September 12th at the Ash Creek Preserve in Monmouth.
