For a second consecutive year head coach Chris Yorges has been named the men's cross country Coach of the Year in the South Region of the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC).

In his three years as head coach, he has led the men's team to three straight Southern Region Championships. The women's team finished second -- for a second straight year -- led by Violet Powell's runner up finish.

"The improvement this year has been nothing short of outstanding," Yorges said. "I'm looking forward to the NWAC Championships, and our teams will be fighting for a podium finish."
